Hillary Clinton shuffles the deckchairs on the Titanic

Hillary Clinton is putting on a brave face. She’s had lots of practice doing it. But you have to wonder how much longer she can keep it up.

Her campaign is floundering. Her campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle suddenly decided that she needed to spend more time with her family. The deputy campaign manager Mike Henry decided to pursue other career opportunities. About the only thing that has gone the New York senator’s way was winning a squeaker of a victory in New Mexico.

If she doesn’t win Ohio, Texas and Pennsylvania by huge margins over Barack Obama, it’s all over.

  1. I think if she were to lose even one of the states of Texas, Ohio or Pennsylvania then she is done. It is amazing to say that, but, no real game plan for Feb 5th on, she has been taking a beating that would be extremely hard to recover from.

  2. Don’t underestimate Hillary Clinton. Her new campaign manager was brought on for a reason, and we can be sure the direction in the next few weeks will be different from before. She’s already trying to re-invent herself as the “solutions” person rather than the experienced one. The race is still close and those states are still Clinton land in a lot of places.
