The American Idol women were hit tonight by epidemic of some sort that apparently rendered most of them incapable of being entertaining.
Of course, there were exceptions. Amanda Ovemyer — AKA the Rock `N’ Roll Nurse — was brilliant. Her rendition of “Baby Please Don’t Go” was gutsy and original. Ramiele Malubay’s “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me” was nice. I also enjoyed Syesha Mercado’s version of “Tobacco Road” and Asia’h Epperson’s take on “A piece of my heart” as well.
The rest were pretty forgettable.
Kind of odd how the epidemic skipped over the guys.
